We left Moab in the rain for a 4h drive to Bryce Canyon, most of the time in the snow.
The snow brought us in some totally different scenery again than the previous days (but it would have been better with 10°C more and more sun)
When we entered Bryce Canyon we couldn't see much due to the snow, but what a luck we have ... 5 min later the sun is coming out and we can see the magnificent Bryce Amphitheater. Even the cold temperature (between -3°C and 10°C) and very strong winds do not stop us from doing some short trails.
In the middle of our trip some strong snow again,
but the park is that huge that we decide to drive further and come back later to the same spot. 10 min further the sun is present again, and so we filled the whole afternoon.Yes, we are really lucky ... look what a similar picture looks like in the snow compared to one 45 min later in the sun :
After a little walk in the 'old Bryce Canyon Village' and some pictures we enjoyed the hot tub in Best Western Hotel Bryce Canyon (new hotel and most beautiful one till now) - In case of doubts, the picture below is not showing our hotel ;-)
