Zion National Park - Blue sky and ideal temperature

Less than 2 hours road today, which gives us more than 5h time for hiking in Zion National Park.

This park, which is also a big canyon, is much greener than the previous ones, since there is more water coming from the Virgin river as well as from the rocks. More water -> some waterfalls and a little oasis with several kind of animals and a lot of species of plants.

As is the case at Grand Canyon, there are hop-on/hop-off buses which make it very easy to go from one point to another and choose the trail you want to do.

Check-in at the Best Western Zion Park Inn around 18h, time for the heated pool and hot tub :-)

  1. Hi guys,
Ah, your favourite, blue sky and ideal temp and the best way to hike, on the bus ;-) very nice.
    I think yesterday's bird was a Steller's Jay and today's appears to be a Black-headed Grosbeak.
